Way To Select More Than One Track In OSX?

I have to admit that this one is driving me buggy. The normal "Shift + left-click" and "(the apple key) + left-click" aren't working. Is there a workaround besides working with only one track at at time? Is there an SWS extension or an action that I'm overlooking? Help!

Shift click and Command click works fine with Reaper 3.141 and Snow. Do you have a trackpad button to try with? My mouse wheel scrolling speed is very different up than down, and nobody else has this problem. So the Reaper OSX definately has some strange individual bugs that others can't reproduce.

Works well here too. 10.5.8 Intel mac
